    For this reason, delivery systems are selected on a formula-by-formula basis.

Some VV Health formulas feature phospholipid-based delivery, a system inspired by the structure of cell membranes.

How It Works

Phospholipids are compounds naturally found in the body and are a key component of cellular membranes. When used as part of a supplement formulation, they can help create an environment that supports nutrient interaction with the digestive system and cells.*

Rather than relying solely on passive absorption, phospholipid systems are designed to help nutrients remain stable as they move through the digestive tract.

Why it Matters

Certain nutrients, particularly fat-soluble compounds, can be challenging for the body to absorb efficiently.

When appropriate, phospholipid delivery may help:

  • Improve consistency in nutrient delivery*

This approach allows us to design formulas that are aligned with how the body naturally processes and utilizes nutrients.

  • Transparency by Design

    Not every nutrient benefit from the same delivery system.
    Some vitamins and compounds are water-soluble and are readily absorbed and utilized by the body without the need for additional delivery technologies. In these cases, adding phospholipids would not meaningfully enhance performance and may offer no practical advantage.
    For nutrients that may benefit from alternative delivery approaches, phospholipid systems are used selectively and intentionally.
